Interim or full, to the manufacturer's schedule, with the stamp in the book. Oil, filters, plugs, fluids and a proper look over everything else while it's up there.

Servicing, diagnostics, brakes, clutches, exhausts, suspension, gearboxes, timing belts, hybrids and batteries, DPF and EGR work and remapping — all under one roof in Levenshulme. You'll be told what's wrong, what it costs, and what can wait.
Most people have had the other experience: a vague phone call, a bill that grew, and a list of work they never agreed to. We do it the other way round.
The car goes on the ramp, it gets looked at properly, and you get a call that tells you three things — what's wrong, what it costs, and what can safely wait until next time. Nothing gets touched until you say yes.
The eight off the sign, plus the three we've added since — and there's nothing on the list we send out to somebody else.

A warning light is a symptom, not an answer. We read the codes, then test the thing the code points at — so you replace the part that's actually failed.
Find the fault
Pads, discs, calipers, lines and fluid. If there's life left in them we'll tell you how long, rather than selling you a set you don't need yet.
Get them checked
Slipping, dragging, or a pedal that's gone soft. Full clutch kits, dual-mass flywheels and slave cylinders — a big job done once, done right.
Talk it through
Blowing, rattling, or hanging off. Back boxes, centre sections, manifolds, flexis and cat replacements — welded or replaced, whichever is honestly better value.
Stop the noise
Knocks over bumps, a corner that sits low, uneven tyre wear. Shocks, springs, bushes, drop links, wishbones and top mounts.
Sort the knock
Crunching into gear, whining, or jumping out of it. Manual and automatic — oil services, repairs and replacements, diagnosed before anything comes apart.
Get it looked at
The one job that's cheaper than the alternative. Belt, tensioner and water pump together, on schedule — before it takes the engine with it.
Check your interval
Hybrids looked after like any other car, and batteries tested properly rather than guessed at — a car that keeps going flat usually has a charging fault, not a tired battery. Tell us what you drive and we'll tell you straight whether it's one for us.
Ask about your car
A blocked filter or a sticking valve is what puts a diesel into limp mode and the light on the dash. We check both, clean them and get them flowing again. We don't delete them — that fails the MOT and it's an offence to sell.
Clear the light
Economy or performance, written to the engine you've actually got rather than off a shelf. Everything stays road-legal and every emissions part stays where the factory put it — tell your insurer, and keep the original file.
Talk about a mapRing us anyway. If it's something we don't do, we'll tell you straight and point you at somebody who does — that costs you a phone call and saves you a wasted trip.
Ring 07949 859112Three of these are free every time, no strings and nothing to sign. The fourth is the proper going-over before your test, so nothing on the certificate comes as a surprise.
We go over the things a tester goes over and tell you where the car actually stands — before you pay anybody for a test.
The full inspection before the test itself. Anything that would fail gets found here, where you can decide what to do about it in your own time.
Level and condition, both. Oil that has gone thin or black is telling you something, and it is a lot cheaper to hear it now than later.
All four set to what the plate in the door actually says. Soft tyres wear out early, drink fuel and are an MOT advisory waiting to happen.
Ring, WhatsApp or fill the form in. You don't need to know what's wrong — "there's a knock over bumps" or "the light's come on" is plenty to work from.
We look at the whole car, not just the bit you mentioned. If a code needs reading, we read it — then we test the component it points at rather than guessing.
One phone call: what's wrong, what it costs, and what can safely wait. Nothing gets touched until you've said yes to it. No surprises on the invoice.
Job done, road tested, old parts kept if you want to see them. And you'll be told what's worth keeping an eye on before your next visit.

Forty-five reviews on Google and not one of them under five stars. The quickest way to judge a garage is still to read what people said once the bill had already been paid.
Booked in for a seized calliper and coil spring change, Islam was really helpful and did a good job on the works needed at a good fair price, would recommend !
First time using Westfield and was hugely impressed. Sorted out an issue with my abs and got me through my Mot. Highly recommend. Really honest and good service
Excellent service and prices as always. Called with a last minute job for a clutch and he fit me in the same day and was completed in less than 24hours. Definitely one of the best around the Stockport area.
The more you can tell us — the noise, when it happens, whether a light's on — the closer the first number will be to the final one.
Would rather just talk to someone?
Yes — that's the whole point. The car gets looked at, then you get a call with what's wrong and what it costs. Nothing gets done until you agree to it, and if something else turns up mid-job you get another call, not a bigger bill.
All makes and models. If a job genuinely needs a main-dealer tool we'll say so rather than have a go at it.
A steady light usually means drive it gently and get it looked at soon. A flashing light means stop and ring us — carrying on can turn a cheap fix into an expensive one. Either way, ring and describe it.
It's on mileage or age, whichever comes first, and it varies a lot between engines. Tell us the car and we'll tell you the interval — it's the one job that's always cheaper than what happens if it lets go.
That is exactly what the free MOT check and the pre-MOT check are for. We go over the things a tester goes over and tell you what would fail, so you can decide what to do about it before you are paying for a re-test rather than after.
No — and no garage that wants to stay on the right side of the law will. A car on the road has to have the filter it left the factory with: removing it is an automatic MOT failure and it is an offence to advertise the work. What we can do is check it, clean it and get it flowing again, which is what actually fixes most blocked-filter faults. Same with the EGR valve.
Not if it is done properly and you are straight about it. We keep the car road-legal and leave every emissions part exactly where it is, and we keep your original file so it can go back to standard whenever you want. You do need to tell your insurer — a map you did not declare is the sort of thing they will use to argue about a claim.
For smaller jobs, usually. For anything that needs parts ordering in or a few hours on the ramp it's better to leave it with us. Say when you book and we'll tell you honestly which it is.
If you'd like to see what came off, just ask when you drop the car in and we'll put them aside for you.
Ring it through, or send a message and we'll come back to you with a price.
